Current Job Openings:
Press Brake Operator: Minimum 5 years experience required on large machinery. Heavy plate forming and Overhead Crane experience is a must have. Job duties include setting up machinery and tooling, print reading, layout, overhead crane operation, and tow motor operation as needed. Halvorsen is looking to add long term positions to it’s Manufacturing Departments.
Welder: The Halvorsen Company is currently accepting applications or resumes from welders with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate should be competent in blue print reading and proficient at FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding), and/or SAW (Sub Arc Welding) welding, and Carbon Arc Gouging. This individual should also be capable of producing welds consistent with the requirements of the ASME construction codes.
Project Estimator / Inside Sales / Customer Service (Technical): The Halvorsen Company is currently accepting applications or resumes for an open Project Estimator position. This candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the steel fabrication industry, heavy plate construction and ASME Code construction. Candidate should be Technically competent, have good written and verbal communication skills, and have well rounded estimating experience.
