The Halvorsen Company has extensive experience fabricating and processing carbon and alloy steel, steel plate and plate steel. We also design, engineer and build a variety of custom and standard high quality close tolerance components, products, equipment, ASME pressure vessels, rolled and welded cylinders and cones, parts and steel section segments from carbon steel plate, alloy steel plate and hot rolled steel plate.
Carbon and alloy plate and steel that we work with include PVQ (Pressure Vessel Quality), A-36/SA-36, ASTM A-36, SA-516-70 / SA-516-70N, ASTM A-516 Grade 70 (PVQ), SA-514 / SA-517, ASTM A514, ASME SA514, C-1045, C1045 hot rolled plate and other high strength quenched and tempered alloys. We work with steel plate from 1/4″ to 6″ in thickness.
