The Halvorsen Company has years of experience welding heavy steel plates, rolled cones and rolled cylinders and boiler components. These fabrications are used to manufacture custom boilers, pressure vessels, steam drums, condensers, blowdown tanks, expansion tanks, stainless steel tanks, towers, reactors, filters, flash tanks, separators and associated power piping for the boiler and steam industry.

We provide welding and weld repair services and solutions for large pressure vessels and heavy industrial equipment. Our equipment, press brakes and technicians are capable of rolling, bending, forming, cutting and heat treating heavy steel plate. Our experienced welders are capable of joining steel segments and steel sections with precise welds. We specialize in oxy-fuel welding which is commonly called oxyacetylene welding or oxy welding.

Since 1955, The Halvorsen Company has been an ASME code certificate holder of the following stamps: “U”, “S”, “A”, “H” and National Board “R”. Our welding and weld repair work can be tested by our quality control staff through the use of non-destructive methods which include Magnetic Particle (wet or dry), Liquid Penetrant, Radiography (X-ray), Visual and Ultrasonic.
