Heavy Steel Plate Burning, Shearing and Beveling Services
The Halvorsen Company offers a variety of heavy steel plate burning, flame cutting, plasma cutting, steel plate burning, shearing and beveling services.
Our engineers work with CAD programs to read your company’s drawing data to prepare CAD files for our CNC cutting, burning, shearing and beveling machines. Our tables have an effective cutting area of 12′ by 50′. We use oxyfuel and plasma cutting techniques to cut, burn, shear and bevel ferrous and non-ferrous steel and alloy plate.
Our steel fabrication facilities located in Cleveland, Ohio use CNC controls to burn, cut, shear and bevel hot rolled carbon steel plate and alloy plate up to 6 inches thick. We have been operating heavy duty plate beveling machines since 1952.
Our metal fabricating facilities have the capacity to burn, shear, bevel and cut straight lines on flat metal stock, stainless steel, carbon alloy steels, high nickel alloys, aluminum, abrasion resistant alloy (400 and 500 Bhn), high strength low alloy (HSLA), armor plate, copper, brass, heat resistant alloy, corrosion resistant alloy and chrome carbide overlay plates.
Our hydraulic metal plate shears and experienced technicians accurately shear plates to tight tolerances and specific lengths.
